Rich is a graphic designer, web designer, educator, trainer, instructional designer and painter. He developed and taught both online and classroom Graphic Design, Web Design and Computer Science courses at Warren County Community College (Washington NJ). He retired as an Associate Professor in 2024 after relocating to Knoxville, Tennessee.
As an online leaning creator, Rich developed a YouTube channel to make his lessons more accessible. His homawccc channel has over 1K subscribers and his homastudio YouTube channel, which offers tutorials for the general public, has also gained a steady following.
In addition to his many roles in higher education, Rich also developed project-based Graphic Design curriculum for Technical Schools throughout New Jersey as a consultant for the Office of Career & Technical Education (CTE) division of the NJ DOE. He also served as the chair of the CTE Graphic Design Advisory Committee for the state of New Jersey. See original Graphic Design CTE Web Site created in 2015 for NJ participating schools.
Rich received his Bachelor's degree in Graphic & Advertising Design from Moravian College and a Master of Science in Instructional Design and Development from Lehigh University.
Rich recently earned his Online Teaching Certificate through Quality Matters in preparation for an Instructional Design role where he hopes to utilize his past experience to help institutions/organization offer quality and engaging online training and instruction.
Rich continues to learn and develop new skills through YouTube, Udemy, Aquent and many other online resources.
